For whatever reason, a TV company has seen fit to install a gigantic statue of Hollywood actor Jeff Goldblum by the side of Tower Bridge in London.

If that's not the most bizarre thing you've heard today, then you're having a stranger day than most.
It's true though. A 25 foot tall Jeff Goldblum, reclining to recreate one of the most famous scenes from the 1993 Steven Spielberg movie Jurassic Park, has been erected at Potters Fields, London.
It is clear that those responsible for this were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.
To be quite honest with you, it doesn't actually look that much like him, but once you see the position and the shirt hanging open, you just know, you know?
It couldn't be anyone else.

It apparently took more than six weeks to make and took up 250 hours of hard labour to create.
Goldblum's relaxed pose has become somewhat of a meme in recent times. Because we live in strange and overconnected times, world has actually made it back to Goldblum himself, who felt obliged to explain why his shirt is open.
Earlier this year, he told Yahoo: "It's supposed to be Costa Rica, right?
"So, things are hot and I'm sure I'm in some sort of fever. All the logic is that we got to get some of these wet clothes off immediately. As I remember, I don't think anybody fought me on that."
